The Path of Umbra Sanquinem slithers through the darkest parts of the soul. Those who follow the Shadow believe in paying the highest price for power, a prize only the hungriest and boldest dare reach for. Those dark dealers who trade with the demonic walk a careful line with the eternity of their souls. But in return, the terrible power available strikes pure dread in the hearts of its victims.
Shadowbleeders, as they are called, bleed for the Shadow, one way or another. Those desiring raw power become warlocks, offering demons limited access to Akralon. Those twisted with thirst for control seek forbidden knowledge to secrets and become witch doctors. Those with the most disdain for all life seek to conquer it through corruption and undeath, become necromancers.

Witch Doctor
These harvesters of forbidden knowledge trade in secrets and promises.
Darkdealers ritualize symbolic charms and amulets to subvert, corrupt and desiccate.
This voodoo, as some call it, is a seductive call to spiritual awareness and dark insights.
Necromancer
Reapers of souls and harvesters of undeath, these shadowbleeders walk the coldest path.
To break life, master it and harness its power, is the vision of all who follow necromancy.
From brittle skeletons to lesser vampires, this path is so disdained that none know the limits of its power.

Shadowbleeding is drawing power from the demonic realms by way of weakening the boundaries between dimensions. By stealing life force, sacrificing in subservience, and cursing and corrupting those of their choosing, shadowbleeders bleed Akralon and feed the demonic.
While witch doctors are insightful traders of secrets, warlocks engage directly with the demonic. Necromancers follow the darker, colder parts of the path of Shadow. They serve the icy soul of Undeath. In any case, all dark masters require acts of subservience to bless with power and reward. Sacrifices come in all flavors, but innocent blood tastes best.
The Four Demonic forces are the titans of Rage, Desire, Corruption and Hysteria. Rage brings force, strength, brutal violence, terror. Desire is euphoric with sensual gratification and consumption, manipulation and leeching. Corruption is the worship of decay, of withering and failing, of desiccation and desecration. Hysteria is the twisted, warped, overwhelming insanity of fear and horror.
The Fifth is only for those of the necrotic order. Undeath. The ultimate desecration of life. Breaking the most sacred boundaries. Raising the dead against the will of the Spirit and the Light.
