Kesh

Toxic World

Kesh is a porous cavern world, a labyrinth of underground tunnels and caves. The fungal life is toxic, the water poison and acidic, and the spores infect living flesh with necrosis-causing madness.

Inhabitants

The Keshites, built peacefully in the fungal caverns of Kesh for centuries before they exposed themselves to greenspore. Immediately, the colony began rushing forward in cybernetic technology. As the spores cause madness and necrosis, the cyborg parts were to stem the death of the tissue. The greenspore infection, however, was irreversible. Now the Keshites are ruled by those who’ve managed to mechanically preserve their twisted minds.

Climate

As the entire world exists below the surface, the caverns and tunnels are filled with fungal life, running with pools of infected water, toxic and often acidic. All manner of bacterial and viral life flourish in the dark, illuminated only by the phosphorescence of the green waters and the glowing fungal life. The very air is poisonous to oxygen-based life.

Units

Half cyborg, half zombie, most minions are virtually mindless thralls, moved by simple directives and what remains of their biological hunger for flesh and meat.

The Black Army

The Keshites have mastered both cybernetic implementation as well as harnessing various forms of extraterrestrial biological warfare. Their dark world of Kesh supplies them with all the toxic and corrosive material they need to wreak havoc on organic and synthetic alike.
